Forms of Supply

aluNID ® is a high quality aluminium honeycomb core produced by ALUCOAT. This aluminum honeycomb core is tailored to the requirements of each customer

aluNID ® offers solutions in collaboration with the customers and works with small and large businesses both domestically and internationally. The aim of aluNID ® is to be more than a supplier, create a real bond with the customer,studying their needs and creating products for the future.

According to customer needs we can obtain different densities and mechanical properties combined thickness aluminum foil and the cell size in order to optimize the material according to its requirements.

aluNID ® can be supplied in 3 ways:

(Ø6 to Ø19mm):

  • Blocks (BLQ)
  • Expanded plate (EXP)
  • No expanded by slice (NEX)

aluNID ® is produced with aluminum foil 50 or 70 microns (0.002 “and 0.0028”) and cell size of 1/4 “, 3/8”, 1/2 “and 3/4” (Ø6 to Ø19 mm).

We can obtain different densities and mechanical properties combining the thickness of aluminum foil used and the cell size, in order to optimize the material according to the needs of each customer.

  • Aluminum alloy: Series 3000 / Series 5000.
  • Cell size: 1/4 “, 3/8”, 1/2 “, 3/4” (Ø6mm, Ø9mm, Ø12mm, Ø19mm).
  • Honeycomb density (Relationship to the thickness of the aluminum and cell size): 20 kg / m3 to 80 kg / m3 (1.3 pcf to 5.2 pcf).
  • Tolerance in width W and length L direction of the expanded plate: +/- 50 mm (+/- 2 “).
  • Standard dimensions of expanded sheets: 1250 mm x 2500 mm (48 “x 96”) and 1500 mm x 3000 mm (60 “x 120”)
  • P perforated (or non-perforated NP):
  • The microperforation allows communication between honeycopmb cells (for a vacuum step or compression).
  • Thickness T of the slice, from 5mm up to 300mm (0.19 -12 “).
  • Cutting Tolerance: +/- 0.1 mm (+/- 0.004 “).
  • Expanded or Unexpanded.

aluNID ® has the possibility to produce custom blocks with differents dimensions in order to optimize customers costs.
