ALUCOAT presents the new aluNID ® Drilled, a core of aluminum honeycomb perforated in the cell walls of the core at regular intervals.

These new holes allow air to flow through the walls of the core to heat or cool a panel homogeneous and uniformly across the surface, necessary in some manufacturing processes and industrial uses.

Thanks to this innovation in the walls of the core, aluNID ® Drilled is a honeycomb stronger, more stable, lighter and better air circulation aluminum, making it the ideal core for composite panels sandwich that require maximum rigidity with minimum core thickness.

aluNID ®, the honeycomb of high quality aluminum, has successfully renovated certificates ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 14001: 2015.

These standards, updated in September 2015 with significant changes from previous editions, certify that aluNID ® meets all the requirements for quality management and environmental, adopting a high-level structure in their production processes.

Moreover, aluNID ® has also met the requirements to receive first ISO certification 50001: 2011 on the Energy Management System. This standard certificates the correct use of energy in industrial facilities and production process.

Although for aluNID ® was not required to obtain the ISO 50001: 2011 and had three years to adapt to the requirements of the new ISO 9001 and 14001, aluNID ® has decided to do so as soon as possible to evidence its high commitment to quality, environment and the satisfaction of their customers.

Thus, aluNID ® moves towards the future, offering its customers a higher performance and bigger dimensions aluminium honeycomb, which increases the efficiency of the production processes of its customers and becoming the world’s largest aluminium honeycomb.

The new product’s main feature is its cell size of 1/8 inches which provides the honeycomb with rigidity and resistance. ALUCOAT ’s main objective when launching this new product is to satisfy the needs of its most demanding customers and to complete the range of already existing products under the brand name of aluNID ®.

aluNID ® 1/8’s features make it the perfect product to be used in the aeronautical industry as well as in air and light channeling systems and in electromagnetic and radio interference blocking devices.
